Type your win rate as a percentage to model realistic progression.
Valorant uses RR (Rank Rating) from 0 to 100 within each rank. Wins add roughly 18-26 RR, losses subtract roughly 12-20, and win rate decides the pace. To go from 50 RR to the next rank you need about 50 RR of net progress.
At a 50% win rate, each game nets only your win RR minus your loss RR — often just 6-10 RR. That is why climbing feels slow: a barely-positive win rate takes many games. This calculator shows the real number.
At 52% win rate with +22/-14 RR, you gain about 4.7 net RR per game — roughly 11 games per rank. At 50% it is about 4 net RR, closer to 13 games.
Valorant adjusts RR gains based on your recent performance and MMR confidence. Consistent high performance earns more; a plateau near your hidden MMR earns less.
100 RR fills a rank, with promotion games at 100. Enter 100 as the target if you want the exact games to the next rank.
