Most games increase upgrade cost per level, often by a fixed percentage (10-30% per level). The result is that the final few levels cost more than everything before them — worth knowing before you commit materials and currency.
This calculator sums the whole curve from your current level to your target, so you know the true total (not just the next step). Compare different target levels to see the jump in cost.
Each upgrade multiplies the previous cost by (1 + growth%). At 20% growth, a 100 cost becomes 120, then 144, then 173 — the last levels dominate the total.
Set the growth to 0% and it behaves as a fixed cost per level, summing to a simple multiplication.
