About the Ranked Progress Calculator

Points math

Your expected points per game equals win rate ร— points per win plus loss rate ร— points per loss. Divide the gap to your target by that number and you get the expected games โ€” the honest version of "I just need 3 more wins".

Model your climb

Change your win rate to see how much faster you climb with a 55% versus 50% win rate. Most players are surprised by how many games a barely-positive rate takes to reach the next rank.

Frequently asked questions

Valorant uses RR and League uses LP โ€” both are rank points that move with wins and losses. This calculator is generic: set the numbers for your game.

Because losses cost points too. The calculator uses your win rate and both win/loss values, so a 52% win rate with โˆ’15 per loss climbs much slower than a 60% one.

Promotion or placement games add variance. Treat the estimate as approximate and add a few extra games to your expectations.
