Calculate your damage per second including critical hits and attack speed.
DPS (damage per second)

Crit DPS
Non-crit DPS
Crit contribution
Share of your DPS that comes from critical hits. Rising crit chance keeps adding value the higher your crit multiplier is.
Type your average base damage per hit, before critical hits.
Type how many attacks you land per second (e.g. 2.0).
Enter your critical hit chance as a percentage and your crit multiplier (e.g. 2× for double damage).
With critical hits, your real average damage per hit is a blend of normal and crit hits weighted by crit chance: (1 − crit) × damage + crit × damage × critMultiplier. Most players underestimate how much crit chance adds to sustained damage.
DPS multiplies your average damage per hit by attack speed. A slow, hard-hitting weapon and a fast, weak weapon can have identical DPS — but speed also affects overkill, uptime and burst windows, so context still matters.
The crit multiplier is how much a critical hit multiplies your base damage — 1.5×, 2×, 3× and higher. It is usually a fixed value per weapon or skill.
Raise any of the three inputs: base damage, attack speed, or the expected value of crits. Improving all three together usually beats stacking one stat.
No. Overkill damage, attack uptime, hit boxes and burst windows all matter. DPS is a great baseline for comparing builds, not a complete picture.
