About the eDPI Calculator

Fortnite sensitivity vs other games

Fortnite's mouse sensitivity scale is very different from Valorant and CS2 — its hipfire yaw is 0.22 degrees per count, roughly ten times Valorant's. A Fortnite value of 0.08 feels completely different from a Valorant value of 0.08, which is why eDPI comparisons must stay within the same game.

Tuning your aim in Fortnite

Fortnite splits aim into hipfire (mouse sensitivity) and ADS (targeting sensitivity). Most pros play hipfire eDPI between 60 and 150, with a lower targeting sensitivity for long-range AR shots. Tune your hipfire first, then adjust ADS to feel natural.

Frequently asked questions

Most competitive Fortnite players use a hipfire eDPI between 60 and 150, with the majority around 80-120. Because Fortnite's scale differs from other games, always compare eDPI within Fortnite only.

Multiply your Fortnite mouse sensitivity slider value by your mouse DPI. This calculator does it instantly and also shows your cm/360 distance.

Your ADS (targeting) sensitivity should be lower than hipfire for precise long-range shots. A common starting point is 40-60% of your hipfire sensitivity, then fine-tune to taste.
