eDPI is your CS2 sensitivity multiplied by your mouse DPI. It lets players with different DPIs compare real aim speed: 2.0 sens at 800 DPI (eDPI 1600) feels identical to 1.0 at 1600 DPI (eDPI 1600). CS2 uses the same scale as CS:GO, so all classic pro references still apply.
Counter-Strike pros typically play between 800 and 2000 eDPI, roughly 25 to 65 cm/360. s1mple famously plays 3.09 at 400 DPI (eDPI ~1236), while many riflers prefer lower. Find your range and refine from there.
Most pros sit between 800 and 2000 eDPI. A 400 DPI pro at 2.2 sens has eDPI 880; at 3.0 sens it is 1200. Start mid-range and adjust for comfort.

CS2's sensitivity scale (0.022 degrees per count) is far finer than Valorant's (0.07), so the same numeric eDPI means a much slower turn in CS2. Never compare eDPI across games directly.
