About the eDPI Calculator

CoD eDPI

Modern Call of Duty uses a hipfire scale where default sensitivity values (5-8) sit well above CS2, but the underlying yaw (0.022 degrees per count) matches CS2. Most pros play 4000-8000 eDPI for the fast, close-range CoD meta.

Tune for the CoD meta

CoD rewards fast turning and snappy target acquisition, so pros tend toward higher eDPI than CS2 players. Use this calculator with the sensitivity converter to move between CoD and other shooters without relearning aim.

Frequently asked questions

Most CoD pros play between 4000 and 8000 eDPI (roughly 10 to 20 cm/360) for the fast-paced, close-range meta. Lower eDPI is rarer in CoD than in tactical shooters.

Same underlying scale, but CoD's numeric sensitivity values are higher and the game rewards faster turning, so the effective speeds differ in practice.

CoD has separate ADS and scoped multipliers. This calculator covers hipfire; match ADS multipliers separately for long-range precision.
