Measure your mouse's true DPI by turning a full 360° in game.
Used to detect hidden multipliers by comparing to the measured value.
How to measure:
Measured true DPI
Vs rated DPI
Enter your rated DPI to check for multipliers.
Expected cm/360
at rated DPI
eDPI
sens × DPI
Choose the game your sensitivity belongs to — the yaw is used for the math.
In game, slide your mouse from a marker until you complete one full 360° turn, then measure that distance in cm.
Type your sensitivity and the measured distance. The calculator reveals your true DPI.
Your mouse may not be running at its rated DPI — Windows pointer speed, "enhance pointer precision", mouse software multipliers and surface differences can change the real value. Measuring a 360° turn gives you the ground truth your aim depends on.
If the measured DPI is roughly double or quadruple the rated DPI, a Windows pointer speed above the middle or an on-board multiplier is active. Knowing this lets you fix it and set a predictable, consistent sensitivity.
Place a marker on the mousepad, drag the mouse in game until your view completes exactly one full turn, and measure the distance with a ruler. Repeat 2-3 times for accuracy.
Windows pointer speed above 6/11, mouse software multipliers, and "enhance pointer precision" all scale counts. The calculator detects these automatically.
Yes — enable raw/direct input in your game so Windows pointer settings do not interfere, then measure again for a clean result.
