Internet speeds are sold in Megabits per second (Mbps), but file sizes are in MegaBytes (GB/MB). One byte is 8 bits, so 100 Mbps downloads at about 12.5 MB/s. The calculator handles both units automatically.
Actual speeds are usually lower than your plan (Wi-Fi, congestion, server limits). The comparison table shows times at 10, 100, 500 and 1000 Mbps so you can see the realistic range for your connection.
Plan speed is a ceiling, not a guarantee. Wi-Fi interference, router distance, network congestion and the game server's own limits all reduce real throughput — typically to 60-90% of plan speed.
